Position Summary:
The Sales Executive / Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, and promoting staffing solutions to prospective and existing clients. This role focuses on identifying sales opportunities, managing accounts, and collaborating with recruiting teams to ensure clients receive qualified candidates that meet their workforce needs.
Job Duties:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and meetings to promote staffing services
- Identify client hiring needs and recommend customized staffing solutions
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure client requirements are matched with qualified candidates
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify additional business opportunities
- Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service agreements
- Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system
- Work closely with sales team members and management to achieve branch sales goals
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
- Travel within assigned territory to visit clients and develop business relationships
- Attend networking events, job fairs, and industry meetings as needed
- Perform additional sales and business development duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College education preferred
- 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in staffing, recruiting, or business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and build long-term client relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to understand client needs and provide customized staffing solutions
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned sales territory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
