Join PEAK Genetics as a Bull Housing Supervisor, where you’ll play a critical leadership role in overseeing animal care, team performance, and daily production operations within our bovine facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily animal care activities to ensure optimal health, welfare, and facility standards
  • Enforce animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety protocols across all operations
  • Lead and support semen collection activities to maximize production and quality output
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Schedule and maintain appropriate staffing levels aligned to production needs
  • Monitor animal health and coordinate with veterinarians on treatment and care plans
  • Manage inventory of feed, bedding, and barn supplies while ensuring operational readiness
  • Maintain facility conditions, equipment functionality, and a safe working environment

     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience working with livestock; bovine AI industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence performance outcomes
  • Strong communication, accountability, and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with large animals
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL (Class A or B) preferred
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire for personal and professional growth
