Hope Residence is a long-term Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) providing hands-on, person-centered support to 52 individuals with varying degrees of intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
We are currently seeking Full-Time Awake Overnight (NOC) Direct Support Professionals for the following schedule:

Sunday β Wednesday | 9:00 PM β 7:00 AM
Compensation
Starting Wage: From $17.81/hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential
Additional Pay Opportunities:
-
PM/NOC and weekend shift differentials
-
Overtime eligible
-
Shift pick-up bonuses (additional $10β$12/hour)
Employees listed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry are eligible for a higher wage. This position supports maintaining active certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.
Position Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides awake overnight supervision and direct care to individuals served in accordance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, individual service plans, and organizational policies. DSPs play a critical role in ensuring resident safety, comfort, and well-being during overnight hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Provide direct care and supervision to individuals served during overnight hours

Monitor individuals to ensure health, safety, and comfort
-
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility as needed
-
Respond to behavioral or medical needs and utilize de-escalation techniques when appropriate
-
Observe, document, and report behavioral, medical, and program-related concerns to supervisors
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment
-
Provide a calm, respectful, and person-centered presence overnight
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 18 years of age
-
Ability to meet Minnesota DHS background study requirements
-
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred:
-
Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
-
Active status on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry (not required)

Previous experience in healthcare, residential, or human services settings
