Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Monitor and document clients’ progress and any changes in behavior or health.
- Facilitate community engagement and social activities for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, including confidentiality and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Background check clearance required.
