Pay Rate: Range $2520 to $2592 weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Schedule: 36Â hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week including possible weekend and holidays, No call
- Registered Nurse: 1+ years - Required
- Labor and Delivery RN Nursing experience: Recent/Current 1+ years – Required
- Postpartum and nursery experience - RequiredÂ
- Travel experience - Highly preferredÂ
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
- RN License for the State of applying or compact if accepted - Required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP Certifications from AHAÂ - RequiredÂ
Job Description:
- Demonstrates ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on patients and reassessments as per policy.
- Demonstrates ability to assess and reassess pain using appropriate evaluation methods. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques and educates patient/ family on pain management.
- Demonstrates ability to develop and revise plan of care as indicated by the patient response to treatment and evaluate plan daily for effectiveness.
- Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the standard of care for patient's age.
- Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over life span and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care.
- Demonstrates knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and their clinical condition.
- Follows the five medication rights to reduce the potential for medication errors.
- Formulates and activates teaching plans based on identified learning needs. Evaluates effectiveness of learning including family in teaching as appropriate.
- Demonstrates ability to perform services requiring technical and manual skills.
- Demonstrates ability to perform services within the scope of licensure and seeks guidance and direction on issues beyond scope of knowledge and responsibility.
- Treats patients and families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psycho-social, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual patient/ family needs. Functions as a liaison between administration, patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Interacts professionally with patient/family. Involves patient/family in formulating of plan of treatment.
- Performs all aspects of patient care establishing and maintaining a safe environment for patients and families to reduce the likelihood of medical/ healthcare errors.
- Consults other departments as appropriate to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient needs.
- Communicates appropriately and clearly to unit director, co-workers and physicians.
- Maintains good working relationships within the unit and with other departments.
- Identifies and addresses psychosocial needs of patients and family. Communicates with Care Coordination regarding in-hospital and post- discharge plans and needs.

- Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly.
- Coordinates and supervises patient care as necessary.
