KC Consulting is looking for an experienced and dedicated Skilled Asphalt Operator to join our growing team in Bellefontaine, OH. Responsibilities:

Operate asphalt paving equipment including pavers, rollers, and compactors safely and efficiently
Prepare and grade surfaces prior to asphalt application
Apply and spread asphalt materials to roads, parking lots, and other surfaces to specification
Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure proper working condition
Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to meet quality standards
Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements
Coordinate with crew members and flaggers to maintain efficient workflow on job sites

Requirements:

Proven experience operating asphalt paving equipment in a commercial or municipal setting
Knowledge of asphalt materials, paving techniques, and compaction standards
Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and project specifications
Strong understanding of job site safety practices and OSHA compliance
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude
