Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: BELLEVILLE - Belleville, IL 62220Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayUnder the direction of the Produce Lead, the Produce Assistant Lead is responsible for merchandising and always maintaining fresh products, while providing excellent customer service for our guests.   Essential Functions Keep display areas stocked and the product rotated according to product standards. Assist customers with product selection, preparation, packaging, answering questions and any other requests. Maintain department product displays and signage according to Eckert’s standards. Ensure that merchandise on display is fresh, in saleable condition and has been properly priced with correct signage. Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations and surrounding areas. Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by Eckert’s standards. Communicate with Store Team members. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with produce co-workers and Country Store staff. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
