Looking to gain hands-on laboratory experience while completing your MLT or MT program? Join the Missouri Baptist Hospital Laboratory team in a flexible PRN role designed for students.
Schedule:
- PRN
- Evenings: 4:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- No weekends
- No holidays
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare laboratory specimens
- Label and sort samples accurately
- Perform data entry and maintain laboratory records
- Restock supplies and clean work areas
- Answer phones and assist with laboratory communications
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an MLT, MT, or MLS program
- Completed at least the second year of study
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills

The Laboratory Department provides a wide variety of assays and procedures to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of most disease states to our inpatient and out patients. Â Services include phlebotomy, hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, point-of-care and pathology.Â
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
May perform specimen collection, specimen handling and clerical duties. Is experienced in phlebotomy and proficient in performing additional tasks such as central processing duties, in-office phlebotomy, or inventory management.
