As the Income/Franchise Tax Senior Manager, you’ll oversee the preparation of Income/Franchise tax returns for your multiple clients– all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with the Income/Franchise Tax team and lead staff on various tax consulting and research matters, on all phases of project and engagement management, because together is how we succeed. Â

Your day-to-day may include: Â
- Respond to inquiries from the State and other tax authorities
- Lead a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management, to gather information and perform tax servicesÂ
- Lead team members to promptly resolve client problems or tax issues encountered in the preparation processÂ
- Understand client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilize that knowledge on engagementsÂ
- Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basisÂ
- Senior Managers will oversee numerous client projects and tasks simultaneously Â
- Lead professional development and training sessions on a regular basisÂ
- Business Development – lead sales presentations for both existing and prospective clientsÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
You have the following technical skills and qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's degree in accounting Â
- Minimum ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting
- CPA, JD with active law license in good standing, or Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation required Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsÂ
- Senior Managers are required to manage various project tasks, at the same timeÂ
- Project managers will be ultimately responsible for the overall project and deliverable Â
- Support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients Â
- Strong computer skillsÂ
- Can travel as neededÂ
The base salary range for this position in firm's Bellevue, WA office is between $172,800 and $259,200.
