Job Title & Summary
The BT Supervisor oversees a group of Behavior Technician staff at ICAN, including all management duties of these staff. The BT Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing management, onboarding, and mentoring of staff in conjunction with the ABA Management and Training Team. Along with the other members of the ABA Management Team, the BT Supervisor is responsible for the sustainability and quality of the ABA treatment programs offered at ICAN.
BT Supervisor Responsibilities:
Maintains a caseload of clients appropriate to position:
RBT: Direct intervention sessions, according to established sustainability goals
Ongoing management of a group of Behavior Technicians, including, but not limited to:
Approving timesheets and completing payroll spreadsheet on a bi-weekly basis
Monthly check-ins with each staff
Be available for concerns, questions, issues from Behavior Technician staff
Communication with the Director and/or HR as needed to problem solve issues
Support in onboarding of Behavior Technician staff
Support with interviews of BT staff as needed
Coordinate first week schedule and training needs
Monitoring progress on RBT trainings
Ensuring completion and submission of CBT applications and monitoring status
First week check in, first month check in, and 90 day check in of each new staff
- Implementation departmental policies as determined by ICAN
- Attends and represents ICAN at marketing and community events
- Supervision of revenue attainment and growth under the direct guidance of the ABA Management Team
- Leads team trainings and meeting on clinical, administrative and operational topics for ABA staff
- Collaborates and problem solves on issues impacting both program and departmental sustainability
Time Supervision & General Expectations:
- Prioritizes and schedules work tasks independently.
- Maintains clinical and administrative records in accordance with professional standards and state guidelines.
- Implements procedural changes immediately and with high fidelity
- Manages staff and collaborates with rehab providers regularly and effectively
Required Experience:
One of the following:
Current Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and current Licensure as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of Washington
Current Licensure as a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) in the state of Washington
Current Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and current Licensure as a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) in the state of Washington AND a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field
Minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism spectrum and related disorders, preferably with experience in
Passing Background Screening and verification
Direct experience implementing service to children with autism
