Dental Assistant

Overview

Meydenbauer Dental has been in the Bellevue Community for over 75 years! We pride ourselves on taking a personalized and patient-centered approach, with an emphasis on prevention. Our practice is passionate about helping our patients while also maintaining a supportive work environment for our staff. We are looking for someone who is a team player and a quick learner.

We have a busy practice with 9 operatories and up to 3 doctors and 4 hygienists working at a time. We have an iTero and a CEREC, both of which are used regularly. We use Dentrix for our EHR and DEXIS for radiographs.

Compensation

• $28 - $33 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors chair-side for basic restorative, simple extractions, and Invisalign treatment.
• Take intraoral and panoramic radiographs
• Run sterilization with other assistants
• Review patient chart prior to the doctor's arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment, as well as transcribe the doctor's notes in the patient chart
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
• Scan patients with iTero for various appliances and Invisalign treatment and deliver appliances.
• See pediatric patients for prophies, sealants, etc.

Qualifications

• Experience with crown procedures, including packing cord, is a must
