What you will have an opportunity to do:
We are seeking to hire an experienced Supervisor for our Food and Beverage outlets. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration of a restaurant in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Â
Duties Include:Â
Under direction of the Food and Beverage Manager, ensure F&B outlets are supervised on a daily basis.Â
Assist with associates work schedules as needed.Â
Be the direct point of contact for all F&B associates.Â
Perform opening or closing duties when needed.Â
Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all F&B activities and operationsÂ
Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performanceÂ
Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaintsÂ
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standardsÂ
Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordinglyÂ
Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory controlÂ
Communicate and delegate tasks to the teamÂ
Ensure compliance of brand standardsÂ
Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient mannerÂ
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationshipÂ
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidaysÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:Â
1+ years supervisory experienceÂ
2+ years full-service restaurant experience as a server or bartenderÂ
Previous hotel experience preferred, but not requiredÂ
Good knowledge of F&B operations, including bar and In-room DiningÂ
Current Food Handlers and MAST permit, or willing to obtain one within 14 days of hireÂ
Experience working in Micros or Simphony system preferred, but not required.Â
