Meta Infrastructure Product Management Leaders work with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists in both Infra and across Meta's Product Groups to build products and conduct critical problem solving in service of our business goals. We are looking for extremely entrepreneurial Product Management Leaders to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the company and value moving quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify the important problems to solve (e.g. competitively, strategically, for customers, and in support of company goals)
  • Build a coherent strategy and roadmap for addressing these issues with measurable objectives
  • Facilitate the flow of information between everyone involved and create consensus around a vision, priorities and decisions
  • Drive, track, and document progress against roadmaps
  • Define a high standard of quality for product area and hold teams accountable to that bar
  • Make larger org and all of Product Management better by supporting Recruiting initiatives such as interviewing
  • Operate in varying degrees of ambiguity
  • Build a strong bottoms-up culture where teams are able to advocate and pursue robust points of view while at the same time seeking consensus
  • Flexibility to adjust to top line company priority shifts
  • Scope: Responsible for resolving conflict and driving strategic escalations between competing priorities. Introduces a new products or new thinking that can change the trajectory of the company. Regularly addresses highly ambiguous problems that may be unsolvable
  • Oversight: Effectively drives progress with little to no direct involvement from leadership. Proactively resolves product, cross-product, cross-functional disagreements and ambiguity - sought after as an escalation point
  • Leadership: Helps identify, frame, justify, and build entirely new focus areas, working across large groups of people (30+), often within an org. Capable of re-framing large problems towards a quicker path to success. Creates consensus across difficult and contentious issues across many teams with appropriate use of escalation, and is often sought after as an escalation point. Routinely lobbies for and wins resources for strategic priorities. Rapidly changes course for projects that aren't on a path to success; effective at shutting down or re-orienting mediocre efforts
  • Coordination: Regularly leads complex and ambiguous cross-functional initiatives. Regularly initiates and improves x-org projects and strategic initiatives
  • Broader Impact: Consistently makes proactive culture or organizational changes that have an org-wide impact. Key contributor to long-term organizational planning across functions. Consulted on team/recruiting decisions across roles; helps recruit and close key hires


Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Product Management and/or Product Design
  • 8+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
  • 12+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experienced in enabling effective east-west/cross org coordination, and global collaboration
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a consumer focused technology company
  • Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces


$249,000/year to $323,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
