Success is measured by product performance, customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions. The work impacts the organization by enabling cross-functional teams to deliver products that enhance customer experiences and achieve business results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business and technical goals
  • Conduct market and customer research to find opportunities and inform product decisions based on data analysis and customer feedback
  • Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories, managing the product backlog to support Agile development teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely product delivery
  • Monitor product performance and quality in production, addressing defects and driving continuous improvement
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience. (Required)
  • 3+ years experience in hands on technical role writing in solution engineering or technical architecture in large scale company/ application/product environment. (Required)
  • 5+ years of relevant Product Management experience. (Required)
  • Experience with relevant technologies such as 5G & LTE (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical Thinking – The ability to break down complex network systems and customer requests into clear, actionable insights is critical for assessing feasibility, prioritizing work, and driving data-informed decisions that support the team’s goal of monetizing T-Mobile’s available capacity and coverage. (Required)
  • Backlog Management – Translating customer needs and business goals into a well-organized product backlog keeps Agile teams focused on the highest-impact work in an environment where critical issue levels and priorities can change daily. (Required)
  • Customer-Focused – This role sits at the intersection of network capability and sales channels, requiring someone who consistently centers customer needs — from verifying network feasibility for specific requests to leading initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and reduce churn across multiple markets. (Required)
  • Product Management – End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle — from vision and strategy through delivery and performance monitoring — is the core of this role, with the network itself serving as the product and success measured by revenue growth, customer metrics, and sales channel outcomes. (Required)
  • Product Requirements – Translating complex technical network capabilities into clear, actionable requirements ensures cross-functional teams — from engineering to sales channels — have the specifics needed to move customer opportunities forward without ambiguity. (Required)
  • Product Specifications – Documenting precise product specifications bridges the gap between what the network can deliver and what customers are requesting, enabling accurate feasibility assessments and supporting the team’s mission to bring underutilized network capacity to market. (Required)
  • Solution Architecture Design – Understanding how network components fit together at an architectural level allows this person to evaluate customer requests, validate technical feasibility, and ensure proposed solutions align with T-Mobile’s infrastructure — a skill both incumbents demonstrate through their deep RF and network engineering backgrounds. (Required)
  • Stakeholder Management – With partners spanning sales channels, network engineering teams, and enterprise customers across the country, the ability to build relationships, manage expectations, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences is essential to this team’s success. (Required)
  • Technical Design Documentation – Producing clear, accurate technical design documentation ensures that network solutions being sold and delivered are well-defined, reducing rework and enabling smooth handoffs between the network SME team and its sales and engineering partners. (Required)
  • Agile SDLC – Familiarity with Agile software development principles is preferred to support iterative product delivery and help the team adapt to the constantly shifting priorities and customer demands inherent in this fast-paced network sales environment. (Preferred)
