Software Engineer

Overview 

Evergreen is a proprietary trading firm based in Bellevue, Washington. We combine statistical research and technological excellence to trade in global financial markets.  

As a Software Engineer at Evergreen, you will play a critical role in designing, operating and improving a range of high-performance software. This includes engineering work in support of our research environment and low-latency trading infrastructure. You will also have the unique opportunity of implementing robust and scalable processes in a technology stack that is unencumbered by legacy infrastructure.  

Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, with advanced coursework in algorithms, operating systems, network programming and/or compilers 

• Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in C++ 

• Past internship or job experience in software development role, particularly with exposure to low-latency software development and/or network programming 

• Proven success tackling complex problems through code 

• Growth-oriented and collaborative mindset; enjoys working within a team   

• Passion for engineering robust and scalable software 

Annual base salary of $200,000. Additional signing and performance bonuses will be provided along with company-paid medical and/or other benefits.
