This role works closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized therapy interventions. Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Rehabilitation and collaborates with the rehabilitation team and interdisciplinary staff. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate residents’ communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities to develop individualized treatment plans. • Implement therapy interventions to improve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing function. • Educate residents and families on communication strategies, adaptive devices, and safe swallowing techniques. • Document therapy services and resident progress accurately and in a timely manner. • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive care planning. • Promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for all residents. • Demonstrate compassion, respect, and professionalism in all interactions. What We’re Looking ForEducation and License Requirements • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. • Current Washington State SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility. Experience • Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but new graduates and newly licensed SLPs are welcome to apply.
