The Customer Care Technology team develops advanced customer service solutions impacting millions globally. It includes software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts who drive innovative Generative AI applications within complex enterprise environments. As part of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Systems, the team collaborates closely with product, business, and UX partners to deliver measurable business value. The team prioritizes scalable, secure, and maintainable software design while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence to support Walmart’s mission of helping customers save money and live better.
What you'll do:
- Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
- Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Integrate AI/ML components and GenAI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
- Participate in solution design, evaluating trade-offs to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with company standards.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
- Monitor application performance and maintain system reliability through proactive DevOps practices.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
- Strong experience in delivering scoped features through collaborative engineering teams.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, Rust, Dart, and C++.
- Demonstrated ability to drive full software development lifecycle with CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Skilled in code review, debugging, and defect management to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform objectives.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
