Role summary:Walmart is seeking a Software Engineer III to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions for small to large projects. What you'll do:
- Collaborate with product, project, business, and UX teams to develop high-level designs for small to medium projects.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Translate project requirements into technical designs, develop code, and conduct unit testing to ensure quality delivery.
- Manage complex projects by researching alternatives and driving solutions that add business value.
- Support users by providing technical guidance and resolving implementation concerns.
- Mentor small engineering groups, providing documentation, direction, and timeline management.
- Build automation scripts and implement telemetry features to enhance development efficiency and monitoring.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery using object-oriented programming and iterative development methodologies.
- Strong technical acumen with expertise in API design, platform development, and component services.
- Proficiency in debugging, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Ability to analyze requirements, perform root cause analysis, and develop sustainable technical solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies including generative artificial intelligence and telemetry implementation.
- Effective documentation skills and adherence to coding standards and security policies.

Bellevue, Washington US-11663: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
