Job DetailsJob Location: 0044 St. Louise Parish & School, Bellevue - Bellevue, WA 98007Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $21.50 Hourly  I.    POSITION PURPOSE       Provides custodial, light maintenance, safety, and security services for the buildings and grounds of the St. Louise Parish campus. II.   PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates a strong personal code of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, avoiding conflicts of interest, and not taking actions for personal gain. Maintains regular and dependable attendance. Remains vigilant and promptly alerts the Facilities Manager or Director of Operations to any concerns about safety or security. Documents incidents in writing when required. Submits and approves timecards in a timely manner, as defined by the payroll processor. Completes all requirements for Safe Environment through Virtus. Upholds Safe Environment policies, both in letter and spirit. Reads and signs the Professional Code of Conduct in Virtus. Priests, deacons, pastoral ministers, administrators, staff, and volunteers in our parishes, religious communities, institutes, schools, agencies, and youth-serving organizations must exemplify Christian values and maintain appropriate conduct both in the workplace and in their personal lives. Able to work with minimal direction; sound judgment and decision-making capabilities are essential. Able to work using ladders. Able to spend most of the workday standing, lifting, and walking. Able to lift up to 60 pounds and move heavier materials using appropriate equipment. Able to communicate in person and over the phone. Assures facilities are cleaned: Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and scrubs floors; cleans, dusts, and polishes furniture; cleans windows (interior and exterior) and walls; cleans restrooms; collects and disposes of trash and recycling; change light bulbs, etc.; ensures areas are kept in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition according to industry and parish standards. Picks up litter around the parish campus. Applies cleaning and sanitizing solutions according to established safety procedures. Adheres to safety measures for cleaning, lifting, moving, and operating equipment. Performs minor repair and maintenance as requested and approved by the Facilities Manager. Assures facilities are safe and secure: Regularly looks over the facilities and equipment to find and fix safety or damage issues before they become a problem. Secures buildings to always ensure proper building security; locks and secures buildings at the end of the shift. Provides other general assistance to staff and volunteers as requested and approved by the Facilities Manager. Assists with the cleanliness and upkeep of maintenance equipment and tools. Maintains the level of knowledge and skills required to function as a Custodian. This is accomplished through reading appropriate materials and attending workshops or participating in other training opportunities. Performs special projects and duties as assigned.       Qualifications      Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
