The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team, ensures good communication with associates and clients, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families. Responsibilities include recruiting new clients by promoting hospital services, maximizing the number of pets seen, providing professional and exceptional service, educating clients about wellness plans and pet health, assisting with client documentation and pet information, managing finances, conducting administrative functions, and other assigned duties. The role requires leadership, customer focus, communication skills, organizational ability, problem solving, client service skills, and computer proficiency. Special working conditions include the ability to work at a computer for long periods, confidence around pets, ability to work more than 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings, and physical requirements such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to various hazards. Experience required includes one year related experience with customer service preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
