Description
- Sell Deseret Book products and services in a retail store environment
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, gift wrapping, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, store recovery, etc
- Supervise, train, and motivate store associates
- Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Perform store opening and closing assignments
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Deseret Book products, policies, and procedures preferred
- Ability to coach and lead store associates
- Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them
- Self-motivated with good team skills
- Computer and cashiering skills helpful
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings and Saturdays.
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond to customers and associates
- Ability to locate and identify product for customers
- Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs
