Role Overview

All American Marine in Bellingham is seeking an Aluminum Welder/Fabricator to help build high-performance aluminum vessels through consistent aluminum MIG welding and accurate fabrication to print. This is a mid-level, full-time, onsite position scheduled for 40+ hours per week (typically four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday), with overtime as production demands require.

In this role, you will produce clean MIG welds in multiple positions, fit and fabricate components to drawings, stage and prepare materials, and maintain workmanship that aligns with marine build standards and quality expectations.

On the Shop Floor

You'll start by meeting with your weld/fab supervisor to review the day's priorities and the drawings that drive the work. From there, you'll map out your approach-confirming measurements, selecting the right tools, staging material, and setting up your workstation so you can move efficiently through the assignment. Throughout the shift, you'll reference prints, coordinate timing with nearby trades, and adjust your plan as the build sequence changes, keeping a steady pace while protecting accuracy. The day typically runs within a 4x10 schedule, with additional hours when project timelines require it.
