Your Impact as Center Director

As a leader within our organization, you will be the heartbeat of our early learning center. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, engage, and develop a team of passionate educators, fostering their professional growth.
  • Culture Building: Create a workplace rooted in support, empathy, and compassion for staff, families, and the youth we serve.
  • Safety & Excellence: Cultivate a secure environment focused on health and safety standards.
  • Community Connection: Demonstrate an ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people across all social and economic segments of our community.

 

What You Bring to the Table

You are the ideal candidate if you meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: AA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field (DCYF-approved).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an early learning teacher.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated experience in Early Achievers and program planning.
  • Requirements: Must be at least 23 years of age

  • Paid holidays (9 for Full-Time and 5 for Part-Time) + 1 self-selected holiday per year

  • Medical insurance for Full-Time (employee pays $81/month for employee only coverage)
  • Dental insurance for Full-Time (base plan paid 100% by BGCWC for employee only coverage)

  • Life Insurance/Supplemental/Spouse/Children Insurance available (50% of life insurance premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
  • Short Term Disability (50% of premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
  • Long Term Disability (50% of premium paid by BGCWC) for Full-Time employee
  • 401k plan after 1 year of service & 1,000 hours worked
