Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham has teamed up with a local Bellingham employer to recruit their newest IT Applications Developer! Responsibilities & Qualifications include:

• Create new and modify existing business software applications
• Coordinate and manage assigned projects to successful outcomes
• Provide technical expertise while identifying opportunities to enhance and improve systems
• Excellent creative problem-solving abilities in a business software development environment
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong understanding of Internet technologies and programming tools
• Strong knowledge and experience using web services via APIs (SOAP, RESTful)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment
• Solid knowledge of and experience with modern object-oriented programming language(s)

• Solid technical understanding of client hardware and software used in a business environment
• Solid technical understanding of networking principles and technologies including
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience using a version control system such as Microsoft Azure DevOPs
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in IT related field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of working experience in a software application development role
• Willingness to work overtime and occasionally outside of normal business hours
• Must have experience with: Python, Angular and SQL
