Warehouse Worker

This is a general understanding of Job Duties. You would receive a specific job description upon hire.

1. Assist the Warehouse Manager
2. Fill transfers
3. Receive all deliveries
4. Hook up and monitor all flour deliveries
5. Keep all warehouse locations clean and organized
6. When necessary assist building 7 with breaks on the forklift
7. Receive all purchase orders in Bakers Dozen
8. Create transfers in Bakers Dozen
9. Report any damage to the building or product immediately
10. Inspect equipment on a regular basis
11. Report issues including product safety and quality to Supervisor immediately
12. Responsible for filling out paperwork correctly
13. Responsible for maintaining a clean work area
14. Inspect equipment before each use and report any problems to the Shipping Supervisor/Manager
15. Operate equipment in a safe manner, adhering to required methods of use as explained during training
16. Maintain building security by keeping doors closed/locked at all times
17. Cleaning/housekeeping will be done when assigned or when no other work is available
18. Know where emergency STOP and START/STOP buttons are located
19. When necessary, wear gloves while handling product
20. Follow all company’s GMP procedures
21. Must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times
22. Must pass company forklift training and maintain certification
23. Perform all special requests by the Shipping Manager

Qualifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work requires some physical strain such as long periods of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting over head. Must be able to lift approximately 35 pounds over head.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working around power equipment, slippery floors and dusty areas. Very hot conditions during summer seasons. Protective clothing such as uniform, safety glasses, slip resistant shoes and gloves may be required.
