Job Description:
The exact role will depend on the skillset of the candidate and the needs of the projects, but below are roles that are typically needed:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contribute directly to projects that integrate new systems and technologies onto existing aircraft platforms
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify areas for continuous improvement in current work processes
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop or provide updates to aircraft electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams and cable assembly drawings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Select components and equipment based on analysis of requirements and specifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform or provide updates to aircraft electrical analyses, such as Electrical Load Analysis (power budgets)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide liaison support to electrical manufacturing and electrical installation teams
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform Electromagnetic Engineering analyses and modeling, including antenna cosite, lightning, and HERF/HERP/HERO
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support aircraft-level testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), P-Static, EMRADHAZ, and TEMPEST
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop or update test procedures and test reports
Qualifications:
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field or have completed their Bachelor鈥檚 degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
Preferred Skills:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge and/or experience with:
o聽聽 Electrical CAD tools, such as Visual Engineer, AutoCAD Electrical or Mentor Graphics Capital Harness
o聽聽 Antenna Modeling tools, such as Altair FEKO, or HFSS
o聽聽 Power, Analog, Antennas, Controls, RF, Communication Systems
o聽聽 Aerospace industry, military specifications and standards
o聽聽 Systems Engineering concepts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
