Job Description:

The Inventory Management Supportposition plays a crucial role in maintaining stock accuracy, streamlining supply chain workflows, and preventing costly operational disruptions like stock outs or overstock.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain records of shipped products and track shipments.
  • Receive incoming materials, unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Verify quantity, weight, and condition of materials to stated identification.
  • Maintain record of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets and other documents.
  • Stock and distribute materials in inventory and on receiving line.
  • Lift heavy items and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts and forklifts upon receipt of internal certification.
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety Requirements.
  • May perform crate shop functions such as operating power saws and nail guns in building skids and crates.
  • Quality conscious with accurate counting ability for inventory compliance.
  • On-Call availability. Must be able to report within 1 hour.
  • Able to meet short notice travel requirements.
  • Able to meet short or no notice overtime requirements
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to work any shift and overtime when needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in aircraft.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with engineers, customers, and other maintenance staff.
