Direct Support Professional

MaxCare Health & Residential Services is a residential group home and day support providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Personal Care Aides (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. You will assist in the daily care of individuals with developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs.

Shifts:

• 3p-11p
• 11p-7a
• Every Other Weekend: all shifts

Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration
• Assist clients with daily living activities.
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
• Collaborate with individuals being serviced and families for best care opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and comfortable living environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in personal/ clinical care or other related fields preferred
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Medication Aide preferred (MaxCare will train onsite)
• CPR Certification preferred (MaxCare will train onsite)
