POSITION SUMMARY:聽
Assist the General Manager in the day to day operations of the store. Perform store functions including dispensing of eyewear, patient care, setting performance goals, and delivering financial performance. Under the direction of the General Manager, assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of the store team. Lead team in General Manager鈥檚 absence.聽 聽 聽聽

路 Lead team to execute merchandise, operational and customer service strategies to deliver planned sales, gross margin and financial results聽
路 Model service, patient care and selling techniques to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives聽

路 Drive optical initiatives through team by planning and scheduling appropriately聽

路 Provide and continuously model excellent customer service in all customer interactions聽
路 Partner with General Manager to provide appropriate direction and feedback to the team related to customer service聽
路 Dispense eyewear according to professional standards聽
路 Partner with General Manager to perform key-carrier tasks including opening/closing the store, cash office, committing payroll and responding to alarm calls聽

聽 MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:聽
聽 路 ABO/Shopko OCE Certification required聽
路 High School Graduate or equivalent聽
路 Optician experience desired聽
路 Supervisory experience with strong customer service focus (preferably in an optical store or retail setting)聽
路 Able to analyze and solve issues of varied scope: able to act decisively to implement solutions聽
路 Solid organizational and planning skills聽
路 Able to continuously monitor progress in relation to goal attainment聽
