Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The CT Technologist performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection standards.

The ideal candidate is committed to excellence in patient care, demonstrates strong technical expertise, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.

  • Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Explain imaging procedures and address patient questions and concerns.
  • Administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policies and physician orders, when applicable.
  • Monitor patients during and after contrast administration for adverse reactions.
  • Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
  • Follow established radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Assist with quality assurance and equipment performance monitoring.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide support as needed.
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotation as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of accredited Radiography school
  • Current WI Radiographer license and ARRT Certification
  • CT Certification required within one year of training completion
  • CPR certification within 90 days
  • Strong communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
