Title: Activity Director

Location: Symphony Maple Crest, Belvidere, IL

Status: Full Time

Shift: 830am to 5pm


We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Director to join our team in providing engaging and meaningful activities for residents in our facility. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' quality of life by designing and implementing diverse recreational programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, coordinate, and lead a variety of recreational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities

- Assess residents' needs and preferences to create personalized activity plans

- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages participation and social interaction

- Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure activities support residents' overall well-being

- Maintain activity schedules, records, and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations

- Organize special events and celebrations to enhance community engagement

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to maximize participation and enjoyment
