Department Details

Your work ensures clinicians have the right supplies and equipment when they need them, directly supporting patient safety and outcomes.

Ideal for individuals who enjoy staying on their feet, moving throughout the hospital, and working with equipment and inventory rather than sitting at a desk.

Summary

Responsible for the daily inventory, sanitizing, receiving and distribution of supplies, equipment and/or instruments as directed by the department.

Job Description

Maintain inventory control procedures to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy. Maintain familiarity with the location of inventory within the department and designated units. Clean, sanitize, inspect, and restock medical equipment to ensure readiness for patient care and compliance with organizational standards. Monitor equipment inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Must be familiar with warehousing terminology and have a general knowledge of inventory systems and basic computer skills.
