This role offers hands-on training in a wide range of technical environments — from installing equipment in emergency vehicles to supporting dispatch centers and working at tower sites. This is not a desk job. This is a career path. This will start out Part time and move into a full time position as you learn and as work is available. What You’ll Do Assist with vehicle upfitting (lighting, radios, consoles, wiring) Support dispatch center installations and service Help with radio system troubleshooting and maintenance Assist with tower site work, including antenna and cable installation Travel locally as needed Learn industry standards for public safety communications systems QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude Comfortable using hand and power tools Willingness to work indoors, outdoors, and occasionally at heights Doing what is right for our Customers.  Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to take direction and learn quickly Valid driver’s license with clean driving record You have the ability to enter your time on time every time.  You have the ability to respond to emails in a timely manner  Previous Public Safety Radio Experience or HAM experience.    Bonus (But Not Required) Basic electrical or low-voltage experience Experience with automotive wiring OSHA or safety training Previous construction, automotive, or technical background
