Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepare the building foundation layoutÂ
- Form and pour concrete foundations for walls and footingsÂ
- Work with materials such as wood, plastic, steel, or concreteÂ
- Utilize hand and power tools and work in accordance with company and OSHA safety best practicesÂ
- Frame floors, walls and roof structuresÂ
- Perform finish carpentry, and install doors/frames & hardware, and windowsÂ
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts. Proper company certification is provided and requiredÂ
- Work on elevated platforms, such as ladders and scaffoldingÂ
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations to minimize risk of workplace accidentsÂ
- Report any unsafe workplace conditions or unsafe acts by others to management immediately
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificationÂ
- 2 years carpentry experience requiredÂ
- Current driver’s licenseÂ
- Ability to travel to jobsites within the Central Oregon RegionÂ
- Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per jobÂ
- Ability to read and understand blueprints (preferred)Â
