Position Requirements:
- Active Oregon esthetician's license in good standing
- Active Oregon laser certification in good standing (bonus, not required)
- Significant work experience (>1 year) as an Aesthetician
- Passion for optimal patient outcomes and brand representation
- Enjoy providing top-tier customer service
- Extensive knowledge of available skincare products and cosmetic services
- Ability to suggest and sell relevant products and services based on specific needs
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, peers and managers
- Flexibility to work some weekends & evenings (i.e., until 7pm)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher, preferred
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Generate and maintain a client base
- Welcome patients and explain the list of products and services
- Provide client consultations for patients with problem areas, advising on how best to care for their skin
- Develop personalized treatment plans and skillfully perform treatments tailored to each client’s needs and objectives
- Educate patients about diagnosis and treatment plans, benefits and risks of proposed treatment plans, and explain the alternatives
- Assure all appropriate patient consents are signed and dated
- Perform skincare services, such as facials and wraps, as requested by the patient
- Perform laser & electrolysis treatments, if certified
- Provide patient pre- and post-care education regarding electrolysis, laser and microneedling treatments
- Suggest and promote retail products and additional services offered at W today
- Clean and maintain equipment and inventory of products
- Keep track of and update client charts daily before workplace departure
- Suggest various upgrades, such as the use of specialized skincare products
- Demonstrate effective and respectful communication skills with patients, co-workers and management
- Complete patient charting before daily workplace departure
- Maintain current aesthetician and/or laser licensureÂ
- Adhere to workplace dress codes
- Attend all staff meetings and continuing education workshops​
- Help train new staff
- Participate in clinic promotional activities and events
