Position Summary:
The residential Wireman focuses on wiring and troubleshooting residential electrical systems, ensuring work is performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with NEC and local codes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and wire electrical systems in new and existing residential structures.
- Obtain and transport materials as needed to ensure timely project execution and minimize job-site delays.
- Install and troubleshoot outlets, switches, panels, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Inspect electrical systems and identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work meets NEC and local building code requirements
- Maintains clean, organized, and safe job sites, and Connex
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, supervisors, and team members.
- Complete work orders and necessary documentation accurately and on time.
- Assist field managers within the housing community.
- Complete Hi Power Electric’s QC checklist.
- Handles warranties independently.
- Proficient in Rough/Trim installation.
- Other as assigned

Requirements:
- Valid Residential Wireman License
- 2+ years of residential electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local residential codes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with smart home installations (thermostats, cameras, EV Chargers) a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service skills and professional appearance.
- Overtime may be required based on project needs
- PPE required at all times.
- Agility
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly; up to 75 lbs with mechanical or crew help.
- Prolonged standing, walking, and moving across job sites during inspections and leadership visits to monitor operational performance and project quality.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to access low installation areas.
- Climbing ladders up to 40 feet
- Basic hand eye coordination for tool use and device installation.
- Ability to maintain balance on uneven or cluttered job site surfaces.
- Working in varying environmental conditions (heated, cold, confined).
- Working confidently on multi-story residential structures during rough-in and trim-out phases.
- Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and rough-in specifications accurately.
