Physician, Radiologist

Overview

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a multi-specialty BE/BC radiologist for a busy, multi-modality community practice in Bennington, Vermont.  This full-time position includes participation in general call duties.  Standard work schedule is currently 178 9-hour shifts, equating to roughly 32 5-day weeks, 10 2-day weekends and one major holiday.  All work days are 8AM-5PM.  Weekdays there are generally three radiologists working, with one in-house and the other two remote.  This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologist looking to practice in a collaborative and collegial setting.

Responsibilities

Opportunity Highlights Include:

• Engaged Imaging Team who are invested in Teamwork and Optimal Patient Outcomes
• Modalities include Radiography, Mammography, Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine to include PET CT
• Basic Barium Studies and light IR abilities are a plus
• Supportive Administration, Quality Care and a focus on Provider and Patient Satisfaction
• Salary  $558,038.00
• Incentive compensation may be available in addition to base salary.  This position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement and CME support).  A sign-on bonus and relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have broad based expertise and experience in multi-modality community based imaging and image guided procedures.  A strong background and skill level in breast imaging is required along with a team-based approach to patient care.  Candidates must be board certified within three (3) years of eligibility.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Current or Eligible for Vermont Medical License
• Current ABMS Board Certification
• Active hospital staff membership
