JOB SUMMARY: The ServiceNow Administrator will report to the VP of IT Operations and will work closely with all Information Systems department staff. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the system operates efficiently, supports the business process, and meets the defined organizational needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platforms (Development, UAT & Production), including working with ServiceNow to perform upgrades and patches. 
  • Configure/Update core modules such as:
    • Incident Management
    • Change Management
    • Problem Management
    • Service Catalog
  • Manage users, roles, groups, and permissions
  • Create and maintain:
    • Workflows/Flow Designer automations
    • Forms, fields and UI policies
    • Business rules and client scripts
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage update sets and migrations between instances
  • Manage data integrity (imports, exports, cleanup) 
  • Configure/Update notifications, SLA & reporting dashboards
  • Support integrations with other systems, i.e., SCCM, SolarWinds, SPLUNK.
  • Document configurations and maintain governance standards


Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • 3-5 years’ experience administering ServiceNow
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes (ITIL framework preferred)
  • Knowledge of:
    • JavaScript (for scripting with ServiceNow)
    • Flow Designer/Workflow Editor
    • CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
    • LDAP/SSO (SAML, ADFS)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and gather requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work varying hours in necessary, including evenings.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Experience with additional modules (ITAM & ITOM)


Day to day

  • Handling user access requests and issues
  • Configuration of new forms or fields for business needs
  • Troubleshooting incidents related to ServiceNow
  • Enhancing workflows & automations
  • Support audits & compliance requirements
  • Core hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00PM
