The Warehouse Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting material flow, inventory accuracy, and coordination between the warehouse and assembly operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for material-related issues and helps ensure efficient movement of materials while supporting overall warehouse and production operations. Reports to.
 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage material flow to and from Assembly for all jobs and shop suppliesÂ
- Verify correct Part Numbers (P/N) against packing slips, pull tickets, and bills of materialÂ
- Receive and transact materials in the business system and customer portalsÂ
- Label, organize, and maintain material storage locations and racksÂ
- Distribute job materials to shop personnel, ensuring accuracy in P/N and quantitiesÂ
- Serve as a point of contact for material-related issues between warehouse, production, and internal teamsÂ
- Identify, track, and help resolve material discrepancies (non-conformances)Â
- Support inventory control activities including cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliationÂ
- Communicate material issues and updates with internal teams and customers as neededÂ
- Process excess materials (returns to inventory, vendor returns, credits, etc.)Â
- Support shipping/receiving and warehouse operations as neededÂ
- Assist with order picking, expediting, and general problem-solvingÂ
- Coordinate local pick-ups and deliveries as requiredÂ
- Maintain accurate records and respond to emails in a timely mannerÂ
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environmentÂ
- Identify opportunities to improve material flow, organization, and warehouse processesÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordÂ
- Ability to learn and effectively use ERP/business systemsÂ
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment preferredÂ
- Forklift experience required, if not experience we will train
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with part numbers and inventory accuracyÂ
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Ability to work cross-functionally with warehouse, production, and office teamsÂ
- Strong communication and organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to work both independently and within a teamÂ
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between local branches as needed
