The Warehouse Operations Team Lead will work along with upper management to implement company initiatives in the Bristol warehouse; the main warehouse facility for the organization. The Team Lead will learn to perform all daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee activities related to inbound shipments including checking in, receiving, and stocking as well as outbound activities including scheduling logistics and shipments
  • Shift personnel between separate warehouse functional areas to ensure each part of the process is sufficiently staffed
  • Create and implement operational procedures with the assistance of the leadership team to ensure work is completed in an efficient manner
  • Continually improve and build upon existing processes by identifying areas of improvement, designing solutions with measurable impacts in mind, and executing improvements
  • Build and maintain a positive work culture by instilling a team-oriented sense of camaraderie 
  • Point person for questions/issues as they arrive
  • Complete quality paperwork when non-conformances arise, work with the quality department on preventative resolutions
  • Train new employees and cross-train existing employees
  • Assist in daily warehouse tasks to maintain workload
  • Drive compliance with safety and productivity goals 
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Experience in warehouse associate role
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required
  • Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
