Job DetailsJob Location: 1439 - Jones Junction - Midas Shop - Fallston, MD 21047Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Xcite Automotive is seeking an Automotive Spray & Undercoating Technician for our partner dealers in Fallston, Maryland!     Job Description: Xcite is now  hiring an Automotive Spray & Undercoating Technician to apply protective undercoating to new vehicles in a dealership environment. This is a hands-on automotive production position involving vehicle movement, automotive lifts, spray equipment, vehicle inspections, and quality control. Direct undercoating experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with related automotive, spray-coating, detailing, body-shop, manufacturing, or production experience are encouraged to apply.   Key Responsibilities :  Apply protective undercoating evenly to vehicle underbodies. Safely move and position vehicles in the work area. Raise and lower vehicles using approved automotive lift procedures. Prepare vehicles and protect components from overspray. Inspect vehicles before and after service for damage, coverage, and workmanship. Operate and clean spray guns, hoses, compressors, and related equipment. Follow all PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work area. Report vehicle damage, equipment problems, safety concerns, or quality issues. Meet daily production and quality expectations. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company MVR requirements. Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles. Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, chemical labels, and equipment procedures. Ability to safely learn and operate automotive lifts and spray equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to stand for extended periods, work beneath raised vehicles, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment. Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
