Housekeeper

Summary

• Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged. 
• Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms in all parts of the facility.
• Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids. 

Schedule

• Full time, 60 hours per two weeks. 

• Evening shift from 4:00PM to 10:30PM, various schedule, Monday through Friday

• Every 4^th weekend/holiday rotation working 6:00AM to 2:30PM

Pay and Benefits 

• Starting pay begins at $16.55 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience. 

• Full Pay range: $16.55 - $23.97 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required. 
• Other types of cleaning such as private house or business cleaning helpful.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required. 
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with all internal and external customers.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
• Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
• Must be flexible to change and have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
