Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Call Center Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking behavioral health services. This position provides compassionate, patient-centered customer service while scheduling appointments, processing referrals, managing incoming calls, and assisting patients in accessing appropriate behavioral health resources. The representative must communicate with empathy, maintain confidentiality, and effectively support patients who may be experiencing emotional distress or behavioral health concerns.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Minimum one year of medical office, call center, behavioral health, or customer service experience preferred. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional when interacting with individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating 
  • with the care team.

Preferred: 

  • Experience working in a behavioral health or mental health setting. 
  • Crisis Intervention training or certification preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems. 
  • Medical terminology knowledge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: ($20.87-$30.19)
  • Incentive Compensation: Eligible for up to 5% of annual salary through the incentive program
