Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift

Location: New Troy, MI
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 7 days a week; schedule may vary based on business needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to inspect manufactured products and ensure parts meet established quality standards. This position will involve testing items, measuring parts, identifying defects, and documenting inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished and in-process products for quality
• Test items to ensure they meet specifications
• Measure parts using appropriate measuring tools and equipment
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues
• Compare parts and products against established specifications
• Document inspection results accurately
• Communicate quality concerns to production and supervisory staff
• Help ensure products meet company quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts
• Ability to read and follow instructions and specifications
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Pay & Schedule

• Starting pay: $18.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Monday–Sunday operation; 7-day schedule
