The Finance General team manages the planning and direction of finance process and activities. Activities include the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs.

This role in summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst - FX & Commodity Risk Management is a key member of the Global Treasury team, responsible for executing financial risk management strategies across global foreign exchange and commodity exposures. This role performs daily execution of FX and commodity hedges, leads hedge accounting under ASC 815, monitors counterparty risk, supports bank relationships, and leverages treasury systems to automate and enhance reporting capabilities. 

This role is fully in-office, Monday through Friday, at our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.

Your responsibilities will include

FX & Commodity Risk Execution

  • Identify, aggregate, and analyze global foreign exchange (FX) and commodity price exposures across business units. 

  • Execute daily and monthly FX spot and forward derivative transactions in accordance with Treasury  risk management policy. 

  • Support the execution of commodity hedging programs by partnering with Procurement to evaluate exposure profiles and trade structures. 

  • Track counterparty credit risk exposures, derivatives pricing, and ensure compliance with ISDA agreements and treasury policies. 

Hedge Accounting & Audit Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain ASC 815 hedge documentation and designated risk strategies. 

  • Lead monthly and quarterly hedge effectiveness testing, accounting entries, and disclosure reporting. 

  • Support month-end close activities related to financial risk management.

  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and External Auditors to ensure compliance and audit-ready files. 

Treasury Systems & Process Modernization

  • Maintain and optimize market risk and derivative modules within the Quantum Treasury Management System (TMS). 

  • Identify and drive process automation for risk reporting, exposure collection, and transaction confirmations. 

  • Develop recurring risk analytics, exposure dashboards, and executive management presentations. 

Cross-Functional Partnership & Special Projects

  • Collaborate with Regional Treasury teams (EMEA, Asia, LATAM), Procurement, FP&A, Accounting, and Tax on strategic hedging initiatives. 

  • Support bank counterparty relationship management, fee analysis, and KYC/ISDA documentation. 

  • Deliver ad hoc quantitative analysis and financial modeling for Treasury leadership. 

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

  • 3+ years of corporate treasury or financial risk management experience, with specific exposure to derivatives and risk hedging.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of derivative instruments (FX forwards, options, commodity swaps) and ASC 815 (FAS 133) hedge accounting guidelines. 

  • Direct experience with enterprise Treasury Management Systems (Quantum TMS preferred), Bloomberg/Refinitiv, and advanced Excel modeling. 

  • Global mindset with the ability to navigate multi-currency environments and cross-functional teams across regions.
