Non CDL Delivery Driver

Description

The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while providing excellent customer service. This position involves loading and unloading building materials, maintaining accurate delivery records, inspecting vehicles, and ensuring deliveries are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, customer-focused, and able to work independently.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies

· Deliver products, materials, or merchandise to customer locations on assigned routes

· Load, unload, and secure deliveries to prevent damage during transport

· Verify delivery information, invoices, and customer signatures when required

· Inspect vehicle before and after each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle

· Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management

· Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including stocking, organizing, and inventory support

· Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

· Use GPS devices, route sheets, or delivery software to complete assigned deliveries efficiently

· Handle customer concerns or delivery issues professionally and notify management when necessary

· Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

· Previous delivery driving or customer service experience preferred

· Ability to safely operate cargo vans, pickup trucks, or box trucks that do not require a CDL and be able to pass a non CDL medical physical.
