Overview

Our DME Driver Technician oversees the functions of equipment pickup, delivery, technical support, education, cleaning, maintenance, and service and repair. This is designated as a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for picking up and delivering equipment
  • Provides technical support to patient, patient’s family, caregivers, and other clients
  • Provides education of equipment operations to patient, patient’s family, caregivers, and other clients
  • Implementing equipment cleaning and disinfectant program
  • Assists in repairing, servicing, and maintenance of equipment
  • Maintains confidentiality of all hospice patient records

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent telephone and oral communications skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to respond to supervisor, patients, families, business associates, and the general public
