For more information about the GameBird and our company, visit our website www.gamecomposites.com About the Position The Assembly Technician is responsible for final aircraft assembly and testing. They install and test electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, structural, powerplant, and flight systems per engineering instructions. They use a variety of hand tools, instruments, measuring devices, equipment, and jigs to perform operations safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities include: • Read and understand engineering blueprints and technical direction to build subassemblies and systems. • Use hand tools to drill, tighten, and connect components. • Use measurement and testing equipment to validate operational parameters. • Perform testing of components and systems and troubleshoot as necessary to achieve engineered specifications. • Utilize FOD prevention techniques on a continual basis. • Complete checklists of own work and check other’s work as necessary. • Comply with all company policies on safe work practices. • Frequently work while walking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crouching, laying, and reaching.
