Role summary:The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by assisting with supplier negotiations, and item setup for stores and online channels. This role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure accurate product content, supports promotional activities, and leverages data analysis to inform business decisions. The Associate Merchant contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and modular assortment execution while maintaining strong vendor relationships. What you'll do:
- Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
- Assist merchants with supplier issue resolution and new supplier setup for stores and online.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content following taxonomy guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute customer communication and education programs.
- Track category performance, support budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis activities.
- Implement modular assortment strategies and support feature and promotional executions.
- Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal partners.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within retail or e-commerce environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analysis and visualization tools to inform category strategy and business decisions.
- Proficiency in managing product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities aligned with organizational financial targets.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to build partnerships across cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to support category administration, including purchase order management and item setup for omni-channel retail.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis to drive category performance and customer-focused solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
