Role summary:
The Director, Advanced Analytics leads advanced analytics initiatives across a defined business area, driving data-driven decision-making through strategic partnerships with senior leadership. This role oversees the development and implementation of complex data models and production-ready algorithms, ensuring alignment with business priorities. The Director fosters collaboration across cross-functional teams, mentors analytics professionals, and champions continuous improvement. By integrating business insights with innovative analytical solutions, this position supports organizational goals and operational excellence while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and professional growth.
  About the team:
This role is part of the Inbound Flow Organization, which includes three key pillars: Inbound Supplier Optimization, Distribution Center (DC) Inbound Operations, and DC Flow Optimization. The Director will lead the DC Flow Optimization team, focusing on determining optimal ordering channels, network optimization, managing economic order quantities, and ensuring efficient supply chain network flow while considering facility space. The team collaborates closely across functions to enhance operational efficiency and drive data-informed decisions. This leadership position requires expertise in advanced analytics, data modeling, project management, and business strategies to support continuous improvement and strategic execution.
  What you'll do:
  • Lead advanced analytics projects across business areas, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and industry knowledge.
  • Develop and implement data models and production-ready algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business strategies.
  • Direct testing, validation, and presentation of analytical solutions to gain stakeholder buy-in and drive informed decision-making.
  • Partner with leadership and external vendors to define data analysis strategies and deliver consultative solutions.
  • Coach and mentor analytics associates, fostering skill development and continuous learning.
  • Analyze business objectives, forecast resource needs, and identify opportunities for operational improvements.
